Yann Vitasse
个人简介
Dr. Yann Vitasse has studied biology and plant ecology at the University of Bordeaux (France) where he obtained his PhD in 2009. His PhD research focused mainly on the impact of climate change on tree seasonality. From 2010 to 2014, he worked at the University of Basel (Switzerland) as postdoc within a European project led by Prof. Christian Körner that aimed to provide a functional explanation of the upper elevational limits of tree species. From 2015 to 2016, he worked at the SLF in Davos (Switzerland) on the consequences of rising temperatures and snow reduction for alpine vegetation. In 2017, He worked at the university of Neuchâtel (Switzerland) on different projects related to spring frosts and forest ability to face future climate. Since 2018 he is a research scientist at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL, Switzerland), investigating the impact of climate change and droughts on tree growth, vitality and phenology. Dr. Yann Vitasse has published more than 75 articles in leading journals. His work has been cited over 6700 times.

Spring phenology of temperate trees: environmental drivers, evolutionary constraints imposed by frost, challenges & perspectives

Temperate climates are defined by distinct temperature seasonality with large and often unpredictable weather during any of the four seasons. To thrive in such climates, trees have to withstand a cold winter and the stochastic occurrence of freeze events during any time of the year. This presentation is intended to provide an overview of the environmental factors that influence spring phenology of temperate trees, as well as to show the interaction between leaf phenology and species-specific frost resistance. Finally, I will open the presentation with a list of challenges based on recent publications and point to future directions to further explore spring phenology of temperate trees.

个人简介
付永硕,北京师范大学京师特聘教授,国家杰出青年基金获得者,欧盟玛丽居里学者;北京师范大学水科学研究院副院长,“流域水安全与综合管理”创新基地主任。主要研究领域为:全球变化生态学、植物物候学、流域生态水文过程等。先后主持国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划项目和课题等多项科研项目,在Nature,PNAS,Global Change Biology ,New Phytologist等国际顶级期刊发表100余篇研究论文;现担任中国可持续发展研究会碳中和专业委员会委员,国际期刊 Global Change Biology,Ecological Indicators,Remote Sensing等期刊编委。

气候变化下的植被物候变化及其生态水文效应
报告摘要
植物物候是气候变化最敏感的生物学指示指标,其变化通过一系列生物地球物理和化学过程反馈生态系统与气候系统。随着遥感、计算机、大数据和人工智能等技术的发展以及气候变化研究的深入,物候对气候变化的响应与反馈机制愈加受到科学研究者的关注。本次报告将简要梳理了植被物候对气候变化的响应机制,分析了中国植被物候变化对陆地生态系统碳、水循环的影响,植被物候变化对局地气候的反馈机制以及通过大气环流对气候系统的影响,并对气候变化下物候学研究做简单展望。
