Jeannine Cavender-Bares

Jeannine Cavender-Bares is Distinguished McKnight University Professor in the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Behavior at the University of Minnesota and Director of the NSF Biology Integration Institute ASCEND (Advancing Spectral biology in Changing ENvironments to understand Diversity). Her work focuses on the physiological and evolutionary dimensions of plant ecology that influence community assembly and ecosystem function. She is particularly interested in the genetic and evolutionary basis of variation in plant function and spectral properties that can advance remote sensing of biodiversity, particularly detecting change through time and its consequences for ecosystems. She is committed to advancing international efforts for global monitoring and assessment of biodiversity and ecosystem services to aid management efforts towards sustainability.

刘晓娟，中国科学院植物研究所副研究员，主要从事生物多样性与生态系统功能研究。近年来在森林植物功能多样性和遗传多样性对生态系统功能影响及机制方面取得了一系列成果。主要研究工作发表在Nature Ecology & Evolution，Science Advances，New Phytologist，Journal of Ecology，Ecology等国际刊物。2018年入选中国科学院青年创新促进会会员。现任Journal of Ecology杂志编委。
